Plastic molding processing: refers to the high temperature heating of the formed metal for re-modeling, which is labor-intensive production.
Plastic forming processing classification:
Forging: It is one of the simplest and oldest metal molding processes by hammering and extrusion under cold working or high temperature working conditions.
Casting: The high temperature metal billet passes through a number of continuous cylindrical rollers, which insert the metal into the mold to obtain a preset shape.
Wire drawing: The process of drawing strips of metal into thin filaments using a series of drawing dies of progressively smaller sizes.
Extrusion: A low-cost process for continuous processing of solid or hollow metal molding with the same cross-section shape, which can be worked at both high temperature and cold.
Impact extrusion: A process for machining small to medium sized parts without chimney taper requirements. Fast production, can process a variety of wall thickness parts. The processing cost is low.
Powder metallurgy: A process that can process ferrous metal components as well as nonferrous metal components. It includes two basic processes: mixing the alloy powder and pressing the mixture into the mold. Metal particles are sintered by high temperature heating, which does not require machine processing, and the utilization rate of raw materials can reach 97%. Different metal powders can be used to fill different parts of the mold.
